1. Membership

1.1Any person may become a member of the Sky Star program using the US-Bangla Airlines website (www.usbair.com) or from a US-Bangla Airlines sales counter. Only one membership is permitted per person, and each person must complete the form individually. Membership is not open to legal entities or groups of individuals.
1.2Members accept the terms and conditions of the contract, including all future changes regarding the terms and conditions of the program, by submitting their application.
1.3Membership commences upon completion of the application form and acceptance by US-Bangla Airlines. The membership provides a personal account in the applicant's name. A member can hold only one personal account. The member receives a membership-identification number and membership card on the basis of which miles may be collected and credited to the member's FFP account. After travelling with US-Bangla Airlines and submitting travel data, a plastic membership card will be printed and delivered to the member at the desired nearest US-Bangla Airlines sales office within Bangladesh.
1.4Sky Star membership is not a legal right of a passenger in the US-Bangla Airlines program. The airline reserves the right to reject membership applications without disclosing the reason.
1.5Personal data about a member stored in the US-Bangla Airlines computer system is confidential and shall not be forwarded to third parties, except for promotional purposes to partners of US-Bangla Airlines and only with the member's prior written consent. Members must notify US-Bangla Airlines about every change of address or contact details through their private website account or a US-Bangla sales office.

2. Membership Cards

2.1Each new member shall receive a Silver card after flying three times with US-Bangla Airlines. US-Bangla Airlines will issue a plastic Gold card after earning 10,000 Sky miles or flying 100 times, a plastic Platinum card after earning 20,000 Sky miles or flying 200 times, and a plastic Titanium card after earning 30,000 Sky miles or flying 300 times. Each card may be used until its expiry date, which is printed on the card.
2.2Only the person named on the card is eligible to use it. The member may state the card number when making a reservation.
2.3The Sky Star card is the property of US-Bangla Airlines Ltd and must be returned upon request.
2.4The Silver card has no expiry date.
2.5Sky Star Gold, Platinum and Titanium cards have expiry dates. Platinum and Titanium cards become null and void after the expiry date stated on the card.
2.6A member shall immediately notify the Member Service Center if a membership card is lost, stolen or damaged. Notifications shall be sent by email to the address mentioned on the website or to [email protected]. Silver and Gold members will be charged USD 5 or 500 miles for replacement of a membership card or baggage tags through an online request at the fixed rate. Gold, Platinum and Titanium members will not be charged for replacement.
2.7Titanium members are entitled to an additional 10 kg and Platinum members to an additional 5 kg over the baggage allowance shown on the revenue ticket, only on US-Bangla Airlines flights.

3. Miles

3.1The unit of measurement in the Sky Star program is a mile as defined by US-Bangla Airlines. Miles are credited to each member's personal Sky Star account and may be used only in the manner defined in the program rules. Miles and member accounts are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
3.2Miles are valid for two years from the date of the transaction.

4. Collecting Miles

4.1Members may collect miles by buying a ticket on a scheduled US-Bangla Airlines flight and taking that flight. Free-of-charge tickets and charter-flight tickets are not eligible for collecting miles. Some tariffs or tickets may also be excluded from the Sky Star program.
4.2Miles are collected from the date an individual becomes a member. Miles accrued before membership may be credited retroactively for three months for domestic travel and two months for international travel.
4.3The passenger must quote their name and card number exactly as shown in the membership ID when booking a flight in order to earn miles.
4.4Miles earned for travel on a fully paid, published tariff may be credited to a member's Sky Star account.
4.5US-Bangla Airlines reserves the right to set additional means of collecting miles, cancel or restrict existing means, or revoke the possibility of earning miles on certain types of tariffs or fares.
4.6Every member is responsible for checking whether collected miles are properly credited to their Sky Star account. Irregularities must be reported in writing with proof of travel, including boarding passes, receipt itineraries and/or other proof required by US-Bangla Airlines. Account information is available only to the account holder.
4.7Sky Star miles are valid for two years from the date of the transaction. Unused miles expire at the end of the stated validity period and expired miles will not be re-credited.
4.8Existing members must request missing miles online through the Sky Star website or by email to [email protected] within 60 days of the transaction or travel date.
4.9For new members, past transactions made within 60 days before enrolment are valid for mileage earning. These miles may be retro-credited upon request to [email protected] within 30 days of enrolment. Past transactions older than 60 days before enrolment are not eligible for retro-credit. US-Bangla Airlines Ltd may request scanned copies of tickets, boarding passes and passports while processing a missing-miles claim.
4.10For existing members, missing miles must be claimed within 60 days from the date of actual travel. US-Bangla Airlines Ltd will not credit missing miles after that period.

5. Using Miles - Reward

5.1Miles in Sky Star accounts may be exchanged for certain rewards. US-Bangla Airlines defines the conditions and procedures for using rewards, including the number of miles required. These conditions may change for different periods and destinations. Benefits and privileges may be restricted by capacity limitations or blackout periods.
5.2To claim a reward, the member must have the required number of valid Sky Star miles in their account. Members may redeem miles for specified products and services at any time while the miles remain valid.
5.3Reward tickets for US-Bangla Airlines flights are subject to tariff rules, the ticket contract and the carrier's conditions of carriage. Reward tickets are issued only for flights where US-Bangla Airlines is both the ticket issuer and flight operator, and are valid only for the destination and time stated on the ticket.
5.4Open tickets cannot be issued as reward tickets.
5.5A reward ticket is valid for three months from its issue date. Its validity cannot be extended and it cannot be transferred to another person.
5.6A lost or stolen reward ticket cannot be reissued, and the redeemed miles cannot be returned to the member's Sky Star account.
5.7The passenger must pay all fees and charges, including airport fees, taxes and other costs relating to use of a reward ticket. Reservations may be automatically cancelled if the member does not collect the ticket at the agreed time or fails to notify US-Bangla Airlines in time. The member must identify themselves using their Sky Star card and, if necessary, other identification documents.
5.8Name changes are not permitted once a flight reward ticket has been issued.
5.9Flight reward tickets are subject to seat availability, periodic embargoes on specific sectors or flights, and flight-date restrictions.
5.10The entire journey must be confirmed at the time of ticketing.
5.11A reward ticket may be one-way or a return trip.
5.12A separate RBD (booking class) will be used for reward tickets.
5.13Rebooking of a flight reward ticket is permitted at any time upon payment of applicable service charges, provided both the miles and ticket are valid at the time of rebooking.
5.14To obtain a reward ticket for a domestic route, the member must travel on a domestic flight. A domestic route ticket cannot be claimed solely by travelling on international flights. Eligibility for a domestic route ticket requires travel on both domestic and international flights.
5.15Re-routing of a flight reward ticket is not permitted.
5.16For a partly used reward ticket, miles for unused sectors will not be credited back to the member's account.
5.17Children are eligible to earn and redeem 75% of the listed miles.
5.18Redemption tickets in Economy Class cannot be upgraded to Business Class.
5.19For pregnant women, US-Bangla Airlines Ltd's travel rules will be followed for travel with a redemption ticket.

6. Transfer of Rights

6.1A member may transfer the right to a reward ticket to another person at their discretion by written statement. The booking must be made in the passenger's name and include the membership card number of the miles owner. Miles from two or more member accounts cannot be combined to redeem a reward ticket.
6.2Members may request to review and correct personal data held by US-Bangla Airlines Ltd. Mailing address, telephone number and email address can be updated by logging in to the member's account. Other information may be changed upon request to [email protected].
6.3Membership tier is the membership level in Sky Star, such as Silver, Gold, Platinum or Titanium.
6.4Sky Star is the frequent flyer program of US-Bangla Airlines Ltd. Members collect miles in their membership account, which can be redeemed for benefits, privileges and rewards. Sky Star is owned and operated by US-Bangla Airlines Ltd and is its trademark or registered trademark.

7. Termination of Membership

7.1Misuse of membership in the Sky Star program or violation of these rules shall result in termination of membership, and all acquired membership rights shall become null and void.
7.2Membership shall be cancelled if the member does not use their ticket or accrued miles in their Sky Star account within the 12-month period after acquiring membership.
7.3Membership shall be cancelled upon the death of a member. The Sky Star card and all accrued miles in the account will also be cancelled.

8. Changes or Cancellation of the Sky Star Program

8.1The reward structure is subject to frequent changes, interruptions or limitations imposed by US-Bangla Airlines, with or without notice. The number of miles needed to acquire privileges may increase sharply. Any reward may be cancelled, and restrictions or invalidations may be imposed during certain periods.
